> We Are Hiring – Consultant Project Manager

We are hiring a Consultant Project Manager to join our Leeds team.

Are you a strong Project Manager with considerable experience? Adept at managing complex and diverse projects, with a hands-on, versatile approach.

What we are looking for:

Whilst there are some things that we require and are often stipulated by our customers, we much prefer to put an emphasis on charisma and a can-do attitude. If you don’t have all the below attributes but would like to join Perform Partners, don’t worry, get in touch, it’s always better to have a catch-up to understand how you would fit in.

  • 5+ years Project Management experience
  • Experience of leading large-scale projects
  • Experience of co-ordinating the activities of a complex project with multiple workstreams
  • Experience of Financial Services or Gaming sector is desirable but not compulsory
  • Able to take responsibility for the project plan, manage the project, process and identify the people needed, ensuring the right resources are available at the right time
  • A skilled communicator who can demonstrate refined stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Keen to proactively communicate progress
  • Able to oversee and manage the Project RAID
  • Experience of ensuring that the appropriate levels of quality are delivered
  • Able to communicate with clients and other stakeholders to gain support for the project and to solicit input to improve the programme
  • Experienced at adhering to the agreed governance arrangements, ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the project
  • Comfortable operating at a senior level
  • Experienced at chairing project meetings
  • Adept at delivering bad news and recommending appropriate solutions
  • A strong sense of personal integrity
  • Committed to meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Highly organised, methodical and a structured thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Whilst the below are not essential, they would be useful and will help you to stand out from the crowd.

  • Experience of working for a client services organisation
  • Experience of working across multiple industries or sectors
  • An excellent grasp of project methodologies and associated tool and the ability to advise upon their use
  • Strongly focused with a hands-on approach, providing support and coaching to the project team where required
  • Able to increase effectiveness and achieve efficiencies through collaboratively working with others

Remote / Leeds / Customer On-site.
