> We Are Hiring – Content Writer

We are hiring a Content Writer to join our Leeds team.

We’re looking for a Content Writer to create engaging digital-first content and to tell the story of Perform Partners. Are you an absolute whiz with words, looking to gain an array of experience within in a fast-paced growing business!? We are looking for someone who is a passionate writer with a keen understanding of tone of voice, has a strong background in business writing, with an interest in technology. Applicants must have a professional portfolio of articles focused on technology, business, and research.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across all business functions. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, your day-to-day role will be to research, curate and promote Perform Partners; our capabilities and services, our projects, and our people. You will produce content across a variety of formats including long-form articles and insights, website content and gated resource, case studies, award submissions, press releases, business development pitches and presentations, thought-leadership pieces, and social media content.

What we are looking for:

Whilst there are some things that we require, we much prefer to put an emphasis on culture, self-motivated mindsets, and a can-do attitude. • 3+ years of professional writing experience
• Professional portfolio of business writing: including, articles, insights, web, insights, interview, and press
• Able to plan, research, coordinate, and curate; to capture and tell a great story
• Optimise all digital and web content to drive more attention and traffic
• Strong knowledge and experience of copywriting for the web
• Knowledge of organic web traffic, SEO and organic reach, and performance metrics
• Confident with gathering, setting and following briefs
• Versatile writing style and confident with structuring content for different outcomes, purposes, audiences and sectors
• Experience of writing for customer presentations, new business pitches and award submissions
• Focused on delivering high quality, compelling and engaging content
• Work closely with various teams to utilise internal expertise and knowledge
• Support the creation and execution of content plans
• Love to collaborate and be part of a great team
• Understand a digital customers journey and experience of influencing that journey
• Great time keeping and able to work to deadlines
• Motivated with a positive outlook
• Confident at communicating and collaborating at all levels, with individuals from different functions
• Proactive with a drive for progression
• Forthcoming and able to highlight opportunities, change and improvements
• Comfortable in a changing environment
• Able to take on new projects while juggling ongoing tasks
• Experience of working in project teams with multiple stakeholders

Whilst the below are not essential, they would be useful and will help you to stand out from the crowd.

• Showcase experience and analytical data, where your writing has elevated a business, it’s position in their market, promoted their presence and/or influenced the audience
• Experience of working in a consultancy / agency environment
• Experience of a B2B environment
• Experience of working with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Architects
• Understanding of Change Management
• Showcase experience in working across multiple industries or sectors
• Previous experience within Technology, Financial Services, Real Money Gaming and/or Education sector
