Paul Rhodes is passionate about people and committed to getting things done. With a strong successful history in delivering small and large-scale change across multiple industries, learning from the highs and lows, Paul has a wealth of knowledge and experience on how to operate successfully within complex organisations to deliver change that sticks.
As one of the three Co-Founders of Perform Partners, he ensures our customers receive the highest quality service without fuss or fanfare. Paul provides the management team guidance on strategy, finance and business forecasting and along with the other Co-Founders ensures Perform Partners’ company culture puts its people and its customers at the heart of the business.
Paul’s career started in the Banking Sector, moving quickly from Financial Advice towards banking Ecommerce when this was a new wild west for financial institutions.
Working on early versions of banking ecommerce, Paul developed a strong passion for progression and change, fuelled by the business transformational possibilities of the internet. Subsequently Paul moved to an innovative internet start-up ‘Freeserve’ changing career from Financial Analyst to QA testing. Paul’s passion for quality project delivery was sparked here, and soon moved to a Project Management role, initially overseeing an iterative, time boxed delivery cycle (years later named as ‘Agile Delivery’).
For the last 10 years Paul has held several Project and Programme leadership roles across Internet/ Telecoms/ Banking and Gambling, delivering a diverse portfolio from mobile & internet related product launches, large scale regulatory changes to strategic transformation programmes. Each have a common theme; all have required great people with great collaboration and a strong shared direction to enable shared success.
Outside of the office, Paul enjoys a lot of recreational walking with his family and dog. he has a passion for snowboarding and can never get enough time to pursue it. Occasionally he plays 5 A-side when called upon, and generally enjoys trying new sports and re-visiting old ones. As part of working with our charity partner Leeds Mind, Paul has recently taken up running to help raise money and awareness for mental health.
