Shaun lives his life with the philosophy that everything is changing constantly. His role is to help people, including himself, navigate and work with the chaos by focusing on what can be controlled and adapt to get the job done and make change happen.
With a candid and often creative problem-solving approach, Shaun is at his best when thinking outside the box to overcome problems with solutions that don’t feel the need to be conventional.
With almost 20 years of experience in IT and business change, and now with more hair in a silvering beard than on his head, he has come to realise two simple things. Change is never straightforward, and the most interesting challenges are how we respond to change as people. With this in mind, Shaun oversees the core delivery function and the building of technical and business teams for customers and internally at Perform. He often works with people on customer engagements and takes responsibility for their welfare as they navigate through change.
Shaun’s career started in HM Forces in a communications and technology role. After serving five years he transitioned into IT, building a career in helping organisations with technical problems and offering viable, fast to implement solutions with the most cost-efficient solutions in mind.
Outside of the office, Shaun is a highly active dad to 2 high-energy young boys. When he’s not running with his boys, Shaun is an avid amateur athlete with several charity fundraising Marathon runs under his belt, a 10K Lake Windermere Swim, and long-distance cycling inducing taking part in the Tour de Yorkshire race.
