Reflections on 2024 - Perform Partners

When we look back on 2024, we see a year of growth, transformation, and plenty to celebrate at Perform HQ. Our focus has always been simple: helping organisations deliver change that works for them and their people.

2024 has been another milestone in our journey, as we’ve adapted, grown our team, welcomed new clients, and continued to make a meaningful impact across various industries.

As Shaun Walsh, Co-Founder & Director, puts it:

“The most defining moment for Perform Partners in 2024 has been our incredible growth — welcoming talented individuals with deep industry expertise, securing enterprise customers, and making a meaningful impact in the public sector. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved and excited to lean into the opportunities ahead, particularly in AI. We’re focused on shaping AI as a broader enabler of technical and business transformation, always with a human-centric approach that ensures people and processes are at the heart of every change.”

From delivering standout projects to evolving how we work internally, it’s been a year of tackling challenges, making progress, and celebrating successes.

Adapting to Move Forward

One of the most significant steps we’ve taken this year is reshaping how we work.

Paul Rhodes, Co-Founder & Director, shares:

“This year we’ve focused on working in a more customer-centric way. Coming off a challenging financial year in 2023, making some difficult choices in 2024 to enable Perform Partner to adapt to challenging market conditions whilst providing excellent business value to our clients. This has given us strong growth in our existing client base and provided a solid base to grow in 2025. All the above couldn’t have been achieved without our amazing colleagues, who have all demonstrated the resolve and commitment needed to deliver high-quality outcomes across Perform Partners and to our clients.”

These changes have helped us stay flexible, deliver real value to our clients, and set ourselves up for the future.

Building Stronger Teams and Partnerships

2024 has been about investing in the people who make Perform Partners what it is —both our colleagues and our clients.

Rob Smith, Co-Founder & Director, reflects:

“2024 has been another challenging yet rewarding year for Perform Partners. We’ve reshaped the organisation into three divisions to better serve our clients, nurture our people and improve how we operate. Establishing a Consultancy division has been particularly rewarding, promoting from within, focusing on Delivery Excellence, refreshing how we engage with clients and being transparent at the start of the year with our revenue, margin and net profit targets has landed well with our people. I am fortunate to be part of something that continues to stretch, excite and challenge me and thankfully proud for the amazing people we have around us and our ever-growing list of enviable clients and partners who continue to support and believe in us.”

Whether it’s through internal changes or closer collaboration with clients, this year has shown us the power of working as one team.

A Year of Milestones

From client wins to new initiatives, 2024 has been a year of firsts and highlights:

  • New Projects: We were thrilled to welcome new clients in the Consumer Markets and Local Government sectors, broadening the scope of our impact.
  • Strengthening Our Partnerships: While continuing to work with our existing partners, we forged exciting collaborations with industry leaders, including Ingram Micro, Digital AI, and Brightsolid, to expand our capabilities and deliver even more value to our clients.
  • Recognition: We made it to the Sunday Times Best Places to Work, something we’re hugely proud of. We were also shortlisted for the Best Team Culture award at the UK Company Culture Awards.
  • Certifications: We secured ISO 27001 recertification, Cyber Essentials Plus and G-Cloud 14 showing our commitment to security and excellence.
  • Sharing Knowledge: We joined Leeds Digital Festival and hosted several events that gave us the chance to connect with our vibrant community and share insights.
  • Launching New Events and Products: We launched the Product hub and Events hub and introduced the EQ-i Assessment & Coaching offering, empowering our clients to navigate challenges with fresh, innovative tools.

Each milestone reflects the hard work of our team and the trust of our clients.

Looking to the Future

2024 has been a year of learning, growth, and change. We’ve faced challenges, celebrated successes, and laid strong foundations for the future. As we head into 2025, we’re excited about what’s next — whether it’s exploring opportunities in emerging technologies like AI and data through initiatives like Yorkshire X, or continuing to deliver change that makes a difference.

Next year, we’re set to release new products, expanding our offering with innovative solutions and services. Our growing technology arm reflects our commitment to staying ahead in the emerging tech space, and our partnerships are instrumental in helping us realise these ambitions.

To our incredible team, clients, and partners — thank you. Here’s to another great year ahead.
