Policy

Modern Slavery Policy

Lou Crabtree at Perform Partners office

Introduction and Objective

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It includes slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking – all of which involve the exploitation of a person for personal or commercial gain. Perform Partners has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.

All employees are required to complete modern slavery training to ensure they can recognise and report instances of modern slavery in and around the workplace. We are also committed to maintaining transparency in our business and our supply chains and expect the same high standards from all of our contractors, suppliers, and business partners.

Scope

This policy applies to all individuals working for or on behalf of Perform Partners in any capacity, including employees at all levels, directors, external consultants, third-party representatives, and business partners.

Policies

3.1 Commitment to Ethical Practices
  • Perform Partners prohibits the use of forced, compulsory, or trafficked labour and slavery or servitude in any form.
  • Our supply chain and contracting processes include explicit prohibitions on modern slavery.
  • We expect our suppliers to uphold these standards and ensure their supply chains do the same.
3.2 Responsibility for the Policy
  • The Perform Partners management team is responsible for ensuring this policy is compliant with legal and ethical obligations.
  • They oversee implementation, effectiveness monitoring, and respond to queries and concerns.
  • Management at all levels must ensure their teams understand and comply with the policy and complete any required training.
  • This policy is reviewed regularly to ensure it remains current and effective.
3.3 Incident Reporting
  • Preventing, detecting, and reporting modern slavery is the responsibility of everyone at Perform Partners.
  • Employees must report any suspected breaches to their manager as soon as possible.
  • Concerns should be raised at the earliest possible stage, even if uncertain whether the situation qualifies as modern slavery.
  • Perform Partners supports and protects individuals who raise concerns in good faith, even if they are mistaken.
  • No one will suffer any detrimental treatment for reporting a suspicion of modern slavery.
3.4 Communication and Awareness
  • Training on this policy and the risks of modern slavery in supply chains will be provided as needed.
  • Our zero-tolerance stance must be communicated to all suppliers, contractors, and business partners at the start of our business relationship and reinforced when necessary.
